Just found this beautiful photo stream on flickr. The accompanying text reads...

"In Maharashtra, Gokulashtami witnesses the exuberant enactment of the god's childhood endeavours to steal butter and curd from earthen pots beyond his reach. A matka or pot containing these is suspended high above the ground and groups of young men and children form human pyramids to try and reach the pot and eventually break it.

This picture is clicked during the same festival at Mumbai. The pot is tied at the 3rd floor which takes at least seven levels of pyramid to break it and the group which is lucky get some huge cash prize."

I remember seeing similar pyramid building in Barcelona, although not to these stratospheric heights.
