Lights in the sky

If somewhere there is an award for best band light show, then Nine Inch Nails’ 2008, Lights in the Sky tour must surely be a contender. Created by the brilliantly named Moment Factory in Montreal, it used two mesh LED screens, one in front and one behind the band, with a video screen in the rear. This allowed the band to be either immersed in the graphics or to perform behind a curtain of static, with visuals forming shapes around the band members. Whatever you think of the music, you’ve got to love the lights. There is a video presentation here on the making of the show, or just enjoy the below.
