World's Best Presentation

Slideshare is running a 'World's Best Presentation' competition. Being Slideshare, this isn't about public speaking skills, it is about creating presentations that don't rely on a voice over. The kind you can email to someone and they make sense.

Slideshare presentations fall into two camps, some use the notes function underneath to give a commentary like this one by Matt Jones.

Others like this well-crafted and hugely popular presentation tell the story within the slide frame.

If you're looking for something really exciting, check out this moving text trailer for Seth Godin's book Tribes.

Mr Godin himself has a nice idea here for no-tech modern talking pad presentations, suitable for smaller face-to-face meetings.
