Environmental Best Practice

Great article here describing how the Live Group created an event for Natural England, the government's advisory body on wildlife and the environment, with the aim of reducing the carbon footprint by 50%. Instead of having the 2,500 delegates travel far and wide to attend, they ran events in seven different locations around the country at the same time and used technology to link the audiences.

I'd imagine that the cost per head was fairly high but it shows that radically rethinking your approach to events can have a dramatic effect on their environmental impact.
