More Distribution as Communication

Following on from this, Emanuel Rosen got in touch to suggest two more examples of companies using additional distribution channels that say something interesting about their brand.

Birkenstock started to sell through health food stores and Powerbar sold through bike shops.

I guess a different approach to distribution as communication is Howies' 'Power of 10' wall in their store, where staff display non-Howies products that they love and use and which share the Howies ethos.
