It's about running

Nike Grid is happening on Friday.

John Dodd's has posted about how Nike use technology to layer interestingness into their marketing, whilst at the same time operating firmly within the brand passion of running.

In the past I've found mass participation urban games overly complicated and somewhat pointless. Nike Grid is wonderfully simple, I love the way it involves phone boxes; a piece of technology we're all comfortable with. And the point of it - running.

The product is very much centre stage with a simple one step link from the site to being able to purchase a pair of Lunar Elite.

This is a high profile campaign but Nike quietly support grassroots running events like Parkrun which without their and other sponsors involvement simply wouldn't happen.
